Terra Invicta is a megagame of geopolitics and strategy. Playing as world leaders, commanders and scientists, players work to prevent global crises, employing diverse expertise to safeguard Earth's future from threats both terrestrial or otherwise.
Terra Invicta plunges players into a crisis of global proportions, where they navigate high-stakes political decisions amidst escalating global crises such as famine, global warming, and warfare. Representing major nations, players grapple with real-world crises, harmonising responses to global dilemmas and the needs of their own people.
The game intricately blends Political negotiation with Operational decision-making, offering diverse roles focusing on diplomacy or strategic actions. Rooted in a lifelike simulation of our world, it mirrors international events, societal expectations, and stakeholder influences on global governance.
But the mundane terrestrial threats of earth are not the only crisis facing humanity. Each game of Terra Invicta will present players with a unique existential challenge to face. Be it Aliens, Rogue A.I. Asteroid impact, Virus outbreak or more, each game of Terra Invicta will never be the same.

Teams can range in size from 2 to 6 members. When purchasing a ticket, you can buy as a group to be placed with your friends, or individually, in which case we will assign you to a team. During ticket purchase, you can also select the type of faction you prefer, such as Nation, Corp, or Press. We will do our best to accommodate your preference, but we cannot guarantee you will be placed on the faction you select.
We always try to keep teams together but teams 6 or larger might need to be split up.
A few weeks before the game, you will receive your game pack, which includes the rules, roles, and briefing materials. Learning these will help you play the game better, but don't worry—we will have a tutorial turn at the start of the day to get everyone up to speed. Some players like to dress up or bring props, which is encouraged but not required.
On the day of the game, you will find your allocated table where you will meet the rest of your team. This is a good time to catch up and plan your strategy. The game can't wait for latecomers, so make sure to arrive on time.
Megagames are huge board/role-playing games spread over many tables. They are primarily games of negotiation, and since you won't be able to be everywhere at once, you'll need to work with different players and teams to succeed. Each player will have a role and task; some roles are more negotiation-heavy, while others are more mechanical.
At the end of the day, you and your fellow players will have created a collective narrative and an experience you will never forget.
Players can choose a range of different types of factions to play as, each with different play styles. We will do our best to accommodate your preference, but we cannot guarantee you will be placed on the Faction you select a preference for.

Help run the game as a member of the Control team. You’ll play for free and attend a pre-game briefing to master the rules. If you enjoy guiding others and ensuring a smooth gameplay experience, this role is for you.
At South East Megagames, we characterize each role with four characteristics. Each role in the game will express each characteristic to different levels. When picking roles, think about which you would like the most.
High scores indicate a role that requires good organization, leadership, and executive decision-making skills. You will be leading groups of people and making high-level decisions. You will not be able to micromanage your group, but you will have a good global picture of the game. Low scores are roles where you will be following orders to the best of your abilities.
High scores indicate a role where you will be talking to lots of people, wheeling and dealing to get the best outcome for your team. In megagames, no one player or team can achieve much alone, so you will have to work with others through coercion, bribery, persuasion, or by any means you can. Low scores mean roles where you work in small groups or only speak to a few people.
High scores mean a role where you will be moving armies, placing tokens, and spending resources. These roles are more similar to board games and often have elements such as area control, drafting, or combat. If you like eurogames or strategy games, these roles are for you. Low scores mean roles that require less rule memorizing.
High scores indicate roles where players are given more freedom to create creative solutions to game problems or narrative events. Megagames cannot write rules for every eventuality, so they are very open-ended. If you want to do something and there is no rule for it, ask Control, and we will see if it's possible in the context of the game. Low scores mean roles that have less scope for creative solutions.
